We’ll begin with a consultation to talk about your goals and determine if whitening is a good option for you. Before proceeding, we’ll do a check-up and cleaning—the bleach won’t penetrate tartar, and it can create extreme sensitivity if you have cavities. So we’ll take care of those problems before we move forward.

• For our in-chair process, we’ll protect your gums, then apply the bleaching gel to your teeth. A special light is used to enhance the brightening effect, and it takes about one hour to achieve the desired shade.
• For take-home kits, we’ll provide you with custom trays and the bleaching gel. You can use it every day for about two weeks to achieve the brightness you’re looking for.
